This song took me back to when I was a child and we lived on South 35th and Sayles before Cooper was built. My brother Don Best and I use to sit in the driveway in our Daddys old Nash (cant remember the year of the Nash) and honk the horn every time a car drove down Sayles street! We thought that was so funny! We ran all over the neighborhood and had a great time. Use to walk all the time over to what is now Buffalo Gap road and get Daddys cigs and we got candy. Was a long walk or bike ride but we didnt mind. I also remember us digging up the whole back yard with Daddys old army shovel. We called it our underground unit! Crawled thru there and played for hours! We also had a playhouse in the top of the garage that Daddy built for us. We played army, Cowboys and Indians and whatever we could dream up, We never needed games or videos or anything. We used our imaginations!!! Wonderful memories!
