This story really gets to the heart of things, and is really well written. My favorite American paper currency is the ten dollar bill. Certainly not to take to a store to make a purchase, that would be beyond silly. However, when they updated our currency, and changed the look of our paper money, I flipped for the ten dollar bill. Why? Because there right on the front of the bill are three powerful words; We the People. It gives me the feeling of unity with my fellow Americans, and really, with all people. Although we are all different, with different lives, families, and on and on, we are all in this together. When I see We the People it is comforting to me, gives me hope, and also makes me proud and happy to be an American.
