This story upset me so much I took the 20 minutes needed to find the ATF email ([email protected], which is hidden on their website) and send this response... As a tax paying citizen I demand an answer as to why a gun was pulled on a young lady who was purchasing water??? The prosecutor basically has said there is no excuse for what happened. In my opinion, your agents should be prosecuted, fired or at minimum, reprimanded publicly. Seven agents (one with a gun drawn) are needed for a SUSPECTED under age beer purchase? This is just one more example of a government agency flaunting its power and showing zero respect to the citizens you are working for. Is there any accountability in your agency? That young lady spent a night in jail and has been traumatized over a huge mistake made by your agents, Again... why on EARTH would it be necessary to pull a gun on a 20 year old female with groceries? Please tell me that at least the agent who pulled the gun has been suspended if not fired. If nothing else comes out of this...
