This time last year Harrison was admitted to hospital with unexplained high inflammation in his body and loosing huge amounts of blood. It was a young SHO who insisted on sending us over to Alderhey because she said he was like looking at a Crohns child. After our referral to Alderhey they found signs of bowel disease this has only gone worse over the past year and now developed into Crohns disease. The doctor who we seen a year ago told me it was almost unheard of to have this disease at such a young age, since then I have met more familys who have children as young as birth with Crohns disease. Like I have said before we was always told that something could go wrong with Harrison but everytime I expressed my worrys I was not listened to. I know lots of charitys for lots of amazing children with different illnesses but this ours and I cant express how important research is and how much this charity have already supported us.
