This time last year I was a dreamer. I dreamed of doing something - TopicsExpress

This time last year I was a dreamer. I dreamed of doing something bigger more purposeful with my life. I talked with my husband and my friend about my interest in the dichotomy of child care. A seed was planted about opening a daycare. So every day we dreamed and we planned we talked, we laughed and then I went on my merry way to a job to chase money. For months I researched and read; I dug and plotted and planned about what I would do if - only if.... And then I went to a funeral; and I wasnt able to talk or plan or laugh with my friend anymore. But the seed had been planted and it begin to grow as I realize that dreaming of the future was waste of time. Scripture says to not worry for tomorrow because today has enough worries of its own. So I prayed I prayed a lot! As I thought about how precious life is how important my children are and what Gods plan was for my life I found that the seed was planted by God. That God did not intend for me to be a dreamer he wants me to be a do-er. By His blessings I was able to open olive juice. Children need unconditional love and care. In this world that isnt always the case , I want to change that. It isnt always easy -buildings, electricity, groceries... They dont bloom from rainbows and happy thoughts. But my God provides for me everyday. I witness my teachers invest into their children I witness incredible acts of kindness and unconditional love everyday. I witness children grow and develop I witness their innocence and I pray to be childlike. To love like a child to trust like a child to be innocent like a child. I am so thankful for my own children and for the children that are shared with me everyday. I am thankful to my fearless husband that supports me. Im thankful to my employees who arent just employees they are my friends. I am thankful for this opportunity; to God for giving me such a purposeful life. I am NOT sharing this to promote olive juice I am sharing this because the glory is Gods. And as supporters of olive juice you should know what fuels us. This time last year I was a dreamer... I dont have it all figured out but I know that everyday I wake up God gives me the power to DO something meaningful. I am thankful that I can DO anything through Christ who strengthens me! Happy Thanksgiving to my wonderful olive juice Family!!
