This too shall pass: E! Online, Huffington Post, and Im sure - TopicsExpress

This too shall pass: E! Online, Huffington Post, and Im sure other pseudo tabloidy-news orgs are running a story on a Change.org petition that garnered 25,000 signatures (at the time of the story 12,500)...claiming the Duggars are LGBTQ fear mongering, whatever that even means. Reality check, there are actual petitions out there for real causes with thousands upon thousands more signatures worth of news: like the one for the Pakistani mother sentenced to death for blasphemy. The Duggars promote family. Its simple. Too many shows promote anything but family...do you see us petitioning to end their self-obsessed jobs? Cant these liberal idiots keep to themselves and tolerate ONE show that values life?! What should we do? Here are a few of my thoughts: 1. Love conquers hate. Lets pray for Jim Wissick of San Jose, CA, and anyone else who signed this hate-filled petition full of lies. 2. Look to the truth. There are very few news organizations that are telling our stories - thank God for Todd Starnes, but hes the exception not the rule. Encourage young Christian conservatives to get involved in news and entertainment. 3. Share and promote stories that affirm family, faith, and freedom. Every like, comment, and share affects how frequent a post shows up in other peoples walls. 4. Never give up. The only way to lose is to quit trying. 5. Dont go at it alone. Lets join together. We need to stand up for truth and fight for what has been passed down to us. Its not going to be easy, but with God on our side, who can truly be against us? Thoughts?
