This video does an alright job of exposing where our meat actually comes from. For those of us who cant as easily relate to the inhumane treatment of the animals, let us at least feel sympathy towards the contracted farmers who earn (on average) $18,000 a year and are in severe debt after being required by their corporate employers to constantly upgrade their coops every year. The modern meat industry is a vicious cycle for humans, animals, and our earth, and we all need to do our part by cutting down the amount of meat we eat, or at least buying from local meat vendors who can provide the kind of conditions a healthy chicken requires.
