This video is completely irritating for several different reasons but I am going to name 2: 1) The very specific demographic shown that tries to holla. 2) The perspective it brings as a whole. I am not going to discuss 1. You can make your own conclusions about that. Number 2 is what is driving me crazy. Your intuition will kick in if you are in a dangerous situation. However, when an individual is acknowledging your presence, you acknowledge theirs. Intention is completely irrelevant. If someone tells me hi, I say hi back. If I catch someones eye while I am walking, I nod and smile. No one says you actually have to sit and have a conversation but it is rude to ignore people regardless. Why? The problem is, in your own mind you have already deduced that any male that speaks to you is perverted. THAT IS NOT NORMAL. There are some situations in the film that are cause for concern. I have had some of those experiences and you deal with them accordingly. I see what the intent is...but I dont think it was portrayed well.
