This video is heartbreaking! On February 19 1981 the TV series Mork and Mindy went on air with the fourteenth episode of the third season, titled Mork meets Robin Williams. In the episode, Mindy brings home a record of Robin Williams Reality, What A Concept and she then notices that Mork greatly resembles the comedian on the album cover. Mork doesnt see it but people in Boulder, Colorado do because they think he is Robin. Robin happens to be coming to Boulder for a live show and Mork is nearly trampled by crazed fans. Mindy gets to interview Robin and brings Mork with her. At the end of the episode, Mork reports back to Orson on what it is to be a celebrity. A very serious note from a somewhat manic and out of control character. It is suggested that Robin Williams may have been talking about his own fight with drug addiction, not wanting to go down the path of those mentioned and that of being a celebrity having its own draw backs, as with what recently (at the time) transpired with the murder of John Lennon.
