This was definitely a LONG day!! Thorocentesis was late ....10:30 appointment... Got in the back around 12:15... That was the toughest of the day. Drained 1 1/2 liters of fluid from the pleura surrounding my right lung...in the wheelchair to radiology...Brain MRI was tricky... Ive grown accustomed to the enclosed paper towel roll they push you into but the contraption they put over my face and snapped closed had to go...for a few minutes....after a towel over my eyes and some air blowing right on my face, we got through that 24 minutes.... That was completely clear as we thought.... I have no other excuse for being so crazy other than chemo brain....and just my old, crazy self!!! Treatment was uneventful....the fun with that will begin Friday afternoon/night. Glad its done !!!! Again, thank you for all the prayers, words of encouragement, and caring I feel every day.. Love you, my posse, my church brothers and sisters, and my family and friends... Im so lucky to have you...I cant do this without every one of you!!!
