This was easier to post then I thought it would be. When I think back to 2010, I definitely dont remember myself as this big. It wasnt until the spring of 2011 that I even started to try and lose weight. I cant say for certain if I was 230lbs in this before picture, but 230 was the number I weighed in at when I started working out at Curves. Between these two photos, I also went through a difficult breakup that threw me into a very tough battle with depression and I stopped eating all together. I hit 136lbs at my lightest, but I was extremely weak and unhealthy. You could see my ribs but I also had a bloated stomach, and I ended up hitting 200lbs again. 230 to 136 to 200 within a year and a half...not good. I got involved with a Personal Trainer in February of 2014 though and today, Im healthy and happy and striving towards a better me, for me. Im dedicated to my fitness journey (even though I love a good cheat meal) and I owe my successes to a handful of people who have helped and encouraged me in this last year. Im still a long way from where I want to be, but Im well on my way. I no longer struggle with the numbers on the scale, because I see the progress in pictures and in the weights I lift.
