This was one of my Grandmas favorite songs. This is a song that she would play often. I remember being young and driving along in her big rig listening to tapes she had made... This is one of the songs I remember well. I also remember that she always had Juicy Fruit gum... The yellow pack.... And I wont ever forget how yummy her chicken & dumplings were...and oh her beans and cornbread... And her homemade fudge...and the way she would cover her face with both hands when she would get to laughing and couldnt stop... Or when she would ask me to pick her Lotto numbers :-). I will miss my Grandma Sadie forever & ever. She taught me many life lessons that I touch on everyday of my life. My Grandma stayed strong until the end. Even in her passing, she was as giving as she was through her whole life. I wish I could sit with her just one more time and chat about the crazy things she would see on the internet once she got a computer. We laughed a lot together. She took a part of my heart with her when she passed. Im grateful that my family and I were with her when she went home to the good Lord. I love you Grandma and I think about you each and every day, especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas :-(. I can still see her in the kitchen early Xmas morning, wrestling the turkey around as she would say... I can close my eyes and smell her stuffing cooking!!! I loved her with all my heart. I hope she felt the love I have for her, all of the hugging and kissing I did towards the end to show her how much we ALL loved her. I look forward to seeing my Grandma Sadie again someday. With all the kindness she had and the wonderful heart she had, I know shes in Heaven.... With her Mom n Dad n Brother n Grandson n Grandma Addie n Aunt Quita n now... My Mom, her Daughter, and all of our other loved ones. I love n miss you so so much Grandma. I hope you knew how much you meant to me... And still do....have a Merry Christmas Grandma ..please continue to visit us. ❤️
