If I only had a nickel for every time I have seen folks with phony service dogs in Laughlin casinos! Less and less owners are even bothering to dress these dogs in service dog disguises like they have in years past. Seeing miniature chihuahuas and dachshunds dressed as service dogs (like they could actually help their owners do ANYTHING) used to amuse me and, for years, countless companies have been raking in profits selling official-looking service-dog costumes online. Anything to make a buck in this day and age..... People now just unabashedly bring these K-9s in to all the local properties. Theyll often put a small dog into a large purse and sit right down at a card table....or restaurant....placing the dog on the seat next to them, or right on the dinner table! Sometimes the little yelpers start barking their annoying high-pitched barks when other players or diners get too close and threaten them, and their owners couldnt care less who they might be annoying....just like those who bring in a troop of screaming and crying babies or toddlers with no regard for others! Dont get me wrong. I am not trying to be a grinch here and, in fact, am a huge dog LOVER. But, its definitely time to crack down on the inconsiderate....and illegal....practice of bringing these annoying animals into public places where they simply DO NOT BELONG!
