This week sped by for me, and Im glad of it. Wednesday the orthopedist confirmed I have a torn meniscus in my right knee, and next week I start PT to help finish the healing process. Getting around is still painful towards the end of the day...ice and naproxen only help so much...and after six weeks of therapy my doc will help me decide if its healed enough or if I need surgery. UGH. What I really hope is I dont misstep and screw it up worse in the meantime. Considering how many of my friends are also using canes at the moment, at least I dont feel alone! Wishing ALL of us speedy recoveries!
