This week started out really tough for me. Some unexpected events rocked my world - stunning then Infuriating me. I dont know if youve ever driven around while feeling both of these emotions, but I didnt get anywhere quickly. In my anger, I heard my dad singing as he often did outside my window at night on front steps, years ago. He was singing, The joy of The Lord is my strength. I wanted to tell him to stop but it had been so long since Id heard his voice (Id forgotten this week marked 5 years since his passing). I let him sing and even gave in to the Lords request to name all I am thankful for- despite yelling NO! several times before doing it. I guess all in all, I have a heritage of faith, singing through the storms, blind steps of obedience & a dad that I believe still lifts me up before our Father in Heaven. I am truly Blessed.
