This weekend: Rented three cars to drive north, go on a hike, and visit wine vineyards. On the way to the mountain, one car broke down so we fit fifteen people into two cars (along with hiking backpacks) for a long drive. Due to said car troubles, we got to the mountain late at night and hiked four miles in the dark. Encountered an aggressive wild boar on the way up while deep in the woods. Slept in a backpackers hut at the top of the mountain without heat and froze all night. Watched the sunrise above the tree line and hiked down. Drove a few hours to wine country, where we rented a house for the night, and saw some vineyards, lots of sheep, and cows engaging in intercourse. Today, we drove even further out to some cliffs and a lighthouse above a beach during a storm and were sufficiently soaked for the car ride home. New Zealand, man. Its dope.
