This weekend is the official kickoff of the fall/Halloween ghost tour season! Friday, September 19-Historic District Tour- this tour will cover the downtown area and visit several historic landmarks sharing the history as well as the reported paranormal activity. Plus there are some new stories and stops not done on the tours before and some new information for some of the old stops! The downtown area is infested with ghosts and hauntings of all variety and is a perfect way to learn the history and the hauntings! Tour begins at 7:30 and is $12 per person. Recommended for ages 13 & up, but it is up to the parents discretion. Keep in mind, this tour is only being done three times over the Halloween ghost tour season so go while you can! Saturday, September 20- Green Hill Cemetery Tour- this tour is new this year and this will be the first tour for it. This is Martinsburgs city of the dead and has long had a reputation for ghostly happenings, sightings and experiences involving touch, sight, and sound! If you want to experience something paranormal, this is the place! And it is one SCARY place at night! No children under 13 for this tour. Tour begins at 7:30 and is $15 per person( a portion of each persons admission price goes to the upkeep of the cemetery. This tour is for the serious ghost enthusiast that has nerve!
