This weeks Squat Challenge for South and Downtown is Counter Balance Box Squat. Do 60 Saturday, 70 Tuesday. Post pictures! *Stand tall with chest out and back straight. Feet should be shoulder width apart or a little wider. *Back up to a bench or chair that is about knee high for this squat *Begin the exercise by pushing your hips back and bending your knees into a squat, while lifting both arms straight out in front of you to shoulder height. Right as your bottom hits the chair/bench, push back up through your heels to the starting position. This completes 1 squat. Remember: your toes stay behind your knees throughout the exercise!
