This whole concept of killing sharks (especially protected great whites) is ludicrous. It is akin with walking into someones house and killing them simply because you do not like them. Statistically speaking you are more likely to get hit by a bus than attacked by a shark. If you are that scared by them the answer is simple... Dont swim in the ocean. Do they kill crocodiles up north because they are unsafe for swimmers??? I think not. The general consensus is to stay out of dangerous waters. This government is doing more damage than good in too many areas, it is time they took a good hard look at themselves I say.
