This will have the opposite affect of the intended consequences, as Government intervention in the Free Markets often do. This will hurt the very people you are trying to help. How about you get out of the way, and allow Business Men and & Women ignite a robust economy so that they are forced to pay higher wages through competition? Do you know that McDonalds pays $15 per hour in North Dakota because that is what the Free Market demands there? Show me a Socialist and I will show you a person who does not have a clue about the reality of how the Free Markets work. Man kind can build in a flood zone, along an earthquake fault line or in the tornado cone and eventually Mother Nature will tear it down.
