This would be shameful behavior in any company. However, when that company is a state-run monopoly, shielded by law from competition, and entrusted by the government with the duty to dispassionately and honestly serve the public interest, what might otherwise have been merely a act of petter & self-serving retaliation against a critic, rises instead to the level of criminal abuse of power. This was a reprehensible betrayal of the public trust; those responsible should be held to account.
