This year I have learned a great deal. Learned what I can and can not extend of myself and to who. Learned who I can trust and who I can not. I learned true friendship. I have stood in places I never imagined. Standing on a busy street, surrounded by people that normal people who ignore or who they would be afraid of. I have hugged people who hadnt showered in months, who had no food, who just wanted to know they mattered. I have gone to county, taken pictures of those who were set to die the next day. I have pulled more dogs off the kill list than I can even count. And each time I couldnt, I gave them love in case they didnt make it. I havr donated time, money, food and my photography to real rescues who never get a dime from others. I married the love of my life. Inherited a whole new family. One I love immensely. One I can not even begin to thank for allowing me into a family that sincerely has a heart of gold. I started classes. Changed my major and what I will do when I grow up. I took on a new business venture. I opened up a love for photography. Ken and I decided on beginning our family through adoption and foster care. We had our hearts absolutely broken in November with Connors birth. Broken to the point we thought we wouldnt recover. But we learned it will be ok. That God has a plan for us. Above all else I seem to have come back to an outstanding group...one that I am so excited to see what 2015 has in store for us. Sofias Angels RAOK....BIG things for 2015. I am so excited. I love all those near and far. Thank you for making 2014 the hardest, craziest but most rewarding and heartfelt year!
