This year at the ADF Annual Meeting at Wellspring, Cedarlight Grove was honored with the 2013 Founders Award for its exceptional public service through its Ecologically Focused and Community Service. I am so proud of us. We worked very hard this past year through all manner of trials, and will work very hard in the future. There are some who believe that ownership of a building and land gives us a sort of advantage, and this is true to an extent. However, empty houses collapse on themselves and land goes un-worked and untended without the people to whom it is important. It is quite possible for Groves to exist and thrive without the benefit of a building (and so many do great work this way), but I wanted to highlight the importance of the hard work of our membership and all of our guests who support us and continue to make our success possible. There are so many who do work behind the scenes not only at the building or on paper, but who also bring Our Druidry into their homes and hearths. In doing so, we support each other and keep our fires lit. Thank you, everyone, for your passion. Thank you, ADF for this high praise. Lets see where the next year takes us, and all the years after.
