This year has been a crazy year Ive battled with addiction I overdosed and died and by the grace of God was resuscitated I have a second lease on life I havent been able to see my children I havent worked almost all year I lost my mother and my girlfriend has had three surgeries in less than five weeks I wont lie and say that I havent had a few hiccups here and there but Im only human and as a human we all make mistakes and a man enough to admit mine this year is taught me a lot of things like who my friends are and who could care less about me I guess what Im really trying to say is that I keep on getting back up when life kicks me and Im down 2014 has taught me a lot of things but one thing Im promising myself is that 2015 will be a better year it will be my year it will be the year that I redeem myself im tired of being taken advantage and being used for other peoples personal gain while I suffer. Ill be back on my feet very soon and I wont forget the people that helped me along the way but I also will keep in the back of my mind the people that did not help me along the way Im not one to hold grudges Im just adopting the new philosophy that once a bridge is burned sometimes its not worth rebuilding. I do want to point out that Im not directing this post at any one certain individual but if this post offends you then maybe you should do some reflecting on yourself and your life and how your actions affect other people. Were at the end of 2014 people and within a week 2015 starts a new year I know that I am going to take full advantage of every opportunity that comes my way that will help me be a better person, father, and a friend. To all my friends and family I just want to say that I love you guys and youve helped me through some really tough times some people wouldve just gave up Im not giving up Im going to show people and myself that I am somebody good luck to everyone in the new year I wish you all the best.
