This years Telethon raised a record-breaking $25.2 million; proving yet again that Western Australians are very generous and care about our children’s health and well-being. In my role as Telethon Musical Coordinator, my goal is to ensure that all musical artists (international, national and local talent) appearing on Telethon are provided with the highest standard of musical equipment and technical support. I also want to ensure that every artist donating their talent over the 26 hour “live” telecast will enjoy their Telethon experience. I am very proud to say that the musical production team’s efforts last weekend was exceptional and faultless, a fantastic achievement. My sincerest thanks go to Zaamien Tallis, Alf Demasi, Lindon Timms, Neil Colliss, John Leotta, Sam Blackburn, Matt Milford and Aaron Quartly; your outstanding professionalism, boundless enthusiasm and tireless work ethic were appreciated by all the Telethon performers and other sectors of the Telethon Production team.
