Those Saints whom God foreknew [of whom He was aware and [loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be moulded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. Those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being]. What then shall we say to [all] this then brethren? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?] So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Yes! The Lord is on my side and takes my part, He is among those who help me; therefore shall I see my desire established upon those who hate me Romans/Hebrews/Psalms.
