Those of you who have known me for than five minutes know that Im the biggest Scrooge since the original. Cant stand xmas. I think its the biggest case of self induced mass insanity a culture has ever inflicted upon itself. And Im only slightly exaggerating. :) As a matter of fact one of the reasons i pick this time of the year to go to thailand is so i can avoid the entire xmas season. This year however xmas eve is the one year anniversary of the massive stroke that my father had that was the coup de grace in his fight with cancer. And being thailand right now has given me the opportunity to honor him and his life by scattering some of his ashes into the Gulf of Siam. Those of you that know his life and his love for Asia will hopefully appreciate how poignant i feel this is and the sense of satisfaction it gives me. Hopefully you share those feelings as well. Now my photography skills and the crappy camera on my phone arent nearly up to the task but i thought Id go ahead and include some pictures as well. Merry xmas Daddy. Merry xmas me. Merry xmas all.
