Those who have dont it, will understand how fulfilling and supernatural it can be... What Im referring to is meeting with God, (in the office of the Holy) on a regular basis at a predetermined, secluded place, at a predetermined and regular time. Im putting out a challenge to believers, and unbelievers... and make-believers alike; to make a date with God; Yes! With Jesus. It will change your life! Select a serene place, (He is very gentle... like a dove) and commit to Him that you will meet Him there at an appointed time regularly every day... preferably before sunrise and then together watch the sun rise breaking forth a new day. Be it only an hour each time, it gives you an opportunity to spill out your heart to Him... Take your Bible, (preferably a Authorised King James) and you will find He will speak to you through His Word. Dont be surprised to hear His voice audibly. He will draw you closer to Him. This is genuine meditation! The Dictionary defines it as... contemplation of spiritual matters (usually on religious or philosophical subjects). omitting eating has little to do with meditation. Why we dont eat is simply because it distracts us from the matter at hand. There was an occasion when the disciples couldnt cast out evil spirits that were plaguing the life of a child and on asking Jesus why they couldnt, He admonished them that some will not obey someone who isnt prayed-up. What He said was that meditation is necessary. I hope that at least one soul is sincere enough to accept this challenge...
