Those who lived in the 50s would have dismissed MAU MAU War of Liberation ,those who lived in Mozambique thought FRELIMO could not win against the Portuguese ,Some thought ANC will never take S Africa from Apartheid whites only regime ,others thought Zimbabweans will never win against White settlers rule of IAN Smith.
