Instead we are prone to look to him only in times of impending need or when earthy things have proven to be unrewarding. - J.Stowell Satisfaction, Sustenance, and security in Life is never attained through ANY means of self -apart from God. When one feels that their own accomplishments have made them WHO they are, it leaves very little room for The Grace of a Mighty Savior To be the driving influence and responsible party for a Good life. Only One is Good. There is only one spot for the seat of the Throne of our soul. And either the Lord sits upon it or We take it upon ourselves to occupy it. HE gives us choice. The mind is a dangerous thing for those who chose the worlds standards of psychology and mental positive centering. It is a path some take, but I would not want to end up where IT leads.
