Thou will keep him in perfect peace whos mind is stayed on thee, because he trust in thee Is. 26:3 Wow, a place of perfect peace...is there such a place? And if it is do you mean in order to find and maintain a place of perfect peace (a place free of shifting, uncertainty, and fearful movement) all I have to do is to keep my mind and the content of my thoughts continually on God? Thats right, Well, hmmm...that sounds like an inside job, an inward work. It is, In fact its has two dynamic parts in play that makes it successful yours and Gods. Jesus said on numerous occasions peace be still to his disciple. Why, because there is a principle spoken here seen when you turn the words around, be still and theres peace. First part : we must be still knowing we are in the presence of an all mighty God, knowing we cant reach up and grab us some peace. Just be still and know he is God. For how long, dont know, you might want to take some patience with you cause cooperating with God requires it. Now here comes the good part, in his timing, (put your watch away) he will deliver to you what you need, the promise just shows up functioning in your life. Peace that passes all understanding full of joy unspeakable and full of glory
