Further, the CPCs proposed plan to to address the issue of violence against aboriginal women and girls would equal the cost of most national inquiries. The only difference is that an inquiry benefits from the legitimacy that the proposed strategy does not (E.g. Romanow Commission, Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism, etc.) But you know, evidence-based policies are overrated. Lets just spend 25 million over 3 years.
