Though puppy Luther came in as a stray, its clear that his medical condition would prevent him from wandering anywhere! Was he dumped because he couldn’t be sold? Not even Luther knows. Sitting in a cage, Luther is terrified. You see, Luther is likely blind and may have some sort of neurological condition which makes him very unsteady on his feet. Could be that he was injured; could be some sort of congenital issue; could be a brain tumor…only a real vet can determine. ACC can only provide triage care and they’ve decided he’s got to go so they’ve put baby Luther on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight Luther can only be pulled by a New Hope rescue who can get him to a vet to see what’s going on. But any rescue will need a foster or adopter that Luther can go to while all his care needs are assessed and met. If you are that very special person who has it in their heart to give Luther the kind of home he likely never had; who can work with a vet; who can be there for Luther no matter what the outcome of his vet assessment is, then start working with rescues to foster or adopt special little Luther.
