Thought For The Day [Extra]: The New Year is just around the corner and I like to evaluate this time of year what I need to keep and throw away just like Jerry Seinfeld. If you look in our pantry room you will see a shelf that looks like a museum of old ideas. We have the juicer, the blender, the soda machine,...must I go on? We have lived in our house for over 20 years and I would hate to think to move for the sake of all the junk I have collected over the years. James 1:21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent..... Why do we always hang onto the stuff we really dont need? We collect stuff for too long and most of it we never deal with including old sins. Lori is so patient with me when I bring something new home but she does ask What are you going to do with that?. God is patient with us also and he ask the same thing What are you going to do with that? That being the sins we carry and store up and never deal with it. Today, Take out the garbage. Get rid of all the old and new sins in your life. Make 2015 the year you cleaned out your spiritual house. God is patient and does not want one to perish. Dont test Gods patients too long with your filth. He may come in and clean house. The best cleanser is the blood of Jesus Christ. Let it do its work on you today.
