Thought For The Day I am reminded of something I read some time ago. Standing before a masterpiece in a national museum, a tourist says in a snide tone, I don’t see anything in that! Then another tourist, looking at the same work of art, replies thoughtfully, Don’t you wish you could? As we witness our nation and society deteriorating year after year, and as we read and see reports that confirm our worst fears, ordinary citizens tend to sigh in despair and say, I see no reason for hope.” And as they despair, we hear the still small voice of the Spirit asking, Don’t you wish you could?
