Thought For Today - Dont take my kindness for weakness, I will set it OFF up in hurr too! Good Morning Saints! I bet some of you thought to your self when you read that subject heading what in the world is he gonna do with this one? LOL! Ive had this one tugging at me for a few days but wasnt really sure how it would come across. Being that Christian folk arent supposed to be violent people because we are so perfect lol! That goes to show that the very people who think or believe that doesnt read their Bibles very often and when they do, theyre not retaining what they read because there are plenty of examples of God settin it off up in hurr! And because I know alot of you act like you were born in Missouri (aka The Show Me State) ill do just that! One of the first examples of God settin it off would be when Satan was still an Angel in Heaven, you see he wanted to receive Praise and Worship just like God and you see how that turned out for Satan! He was kicked out of, banished from, barred from, Heaven without recourse! On top of that, God condemmed him to crawl on his belly like a serpent for eternity! Then theres the first time God got fed up with mans sinful ways and flooded the earth killing every living person and creature except those He deemed worthy of a second chance! Still need more examples huh? How about God raining down Fire on Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sinful ways! But allowing Lot and his family to escape with only one provision, Do not look back! The significance of this provision at the time, did not register apparently to Lots wife because she after escaping with her family did just that, and was immediately turned into a pillar of salt! The moral of that story is, when God is merciful enough to deliver you from something bad or evil, DONT look back at it! You come across as if you miss what youve been delivered from! Ok moving right along, the next example of God settin it off would be when He delivered the people of Isreal from Pharoah and his army. You dont think parting the Red Sea just long enough for His chose people to cross, and when Pharoahs army tried to follow they were drowned when God closed it back up? Surely that will suffice on the examples? God is not one to be played or toyed with! You better start taking His warnings and commandments very serious! And nomatter how angry you get, or how arrogant you get, at one of Gods children, NEVER make the mistake of attacking one of then because the wrath that He will unleash on you (some call this Karma) will be of epic proportions! God can, God has, and God will Set it off up in hurr if provoked!!! Can I get an Amen????
