Thought I would share this here too! Of course my rib roast is a 100% Grass Fed Rib Roast So its a Tradition in our Family to have a Standing Rib Roast for Christmas Dinner so I thought I would share with all of you my recipe for a fool proof medium rare rib roast. It works with any size roast and as long as no one opens that oven during the rest time you are good to go Joe’s Fool-Proof Prime Rib 1 (3 Rib) 5-6lb Rib Roast 2 T Kosher Salt 2 Garlic Cloves, minced 1 tsp black pepper Preheat oven to 375°f. Place Roast in a Roasting Pan on a rack. Season with salt, pepper and garlic Place roast into the oven and cook for 45 minutes turn off oven and allow roast to sit in oven for at least 2 hours without opening door. 1 hour before serving turn oven on to 350°f and roast for 45 minutes. Remove Rib Roast from oven and allow to rest 15 minutes before carving.
