Thought. In Star Trek we have a number of alien races with variations in skin, blood, head shape and such. We also have cross breeding between these races. This must imply that all of the life we find in Trek are all evoled from a type of primate similar to humans. Yet, Vulcans have green blood and obvious lizard origins as they hint at in how they evolved. Klingons appear to be ape wolves or some type of canine. Cardassians appear to be insect related. I can only assume Bajorins are mammals of some type. With what we know, a spider cannot mate with a dog or a lizard. A primate cannot mate with a rat. So how is Spock, Alexander, Troi, and the numberless Cardassian/Bajorin breeds possible? Just a thought.
