Thought for food, if Tom Petty came out now, and if he tried out for American idol, they would laugh him out of the auditions...same for Neil Young, John Lennon, Bon Scott, Mick Jagger, Ray Davies, Alice Cooper David Lee Roth, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, David Bowie, Ronnie Van Zant, Peter Gabriel, Jim Morrison, Michael Hutchance, Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Paul Westerberg, Neil Finn, Elvis Costello, Perry Farrell, Ozzy, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson...but back then reality was real and not a TV show :/
