Matthew 7:6 Dear ones, while we certainly are committed to sharing our faith, the Good News of the Gospel, the seeds need to be planted in good soil as our Lord explained in His Parable of the Sower (see Mark 4:3-8). Gospel seeds sown on hard, unyielding hearts has no effect and may even give rise to verbal abuse or worse on the part of the hearer. The first step in sharing our faith must be prayer, asking our Lord to prepare the heart, mind, ears of the unbeliever, ask for opportunities to speak with him or her, listen carefully to His voice and then proceed gently and lovingly to share when the opportunity is provided. Our Savior is eager to receive all who will come to Him, and what a privilege and an honor it is to introduce those lost men, women, children around us to our loving, gracious Master, to be His instrument in changing his or her eternal destination!
