Thought you may want to read this from the local a Republicans. Republican Party of Brazos County to me 17 hours agoDetails Fellow Republicans, View this email in your browser Fellow Republicans, We witnessed history in so many ways last night. If you were up late, as some of us were, you simply could not get enough of the good news rolling in. President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosis radical left wing agenda was clearly repudiated in all corners of the United States. Back home in Texas. our candidates General Abbott, Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton, Glen Hegar and others beat back an enormous amount of out-of-state money spent trying to turn Texas blue. Thankfully the good guys won and the other side fell hard. According to early reports out of Texas 254 counties, Wendy Davis carried only 17. That, my friends, is an absolute victory! With all the good news surrounding us, it might be easy to overlook one of the most significant wins in Brazos County history. Louis Garcia, Jr. won the Justice of the Peace race in precinct 4! The Republican Party of Brazos County has seldom held a seat in precinct 4. Congratulations to Louis and all the Garcia family for a huge victory last night. Thank you to the many volunteers who block walked, phone banked and supported Louis with contributions. This has opened the door for us in future races in precinct 4. Congratulations also to all our candidates who will be sworn into office this next January. Some of the new faces you can expect to see are: Kyle Hawthorne—85th District Court, Rick Hill—J.P. Pct. 3 and J.P. Ingram—Constable Pct. 3. They will join the chorus of other Republican office holders in Brazos County. Congratulations to Congressman Bill Flores for winning a third term. Congratulations to Senator Charles Schwertner for once again winning Senate District 5. Congratulations to both John Raney and Kyle Kacal for their reelection to the Texas House. With such an abundance of riches, we might have a tendency to sit back and relax. However, if we think the other side is going to go away—think again. All one needs to do is read some of the left wing blogs today to understand they will be coming for us even harder in the next election cycle. They refuse to believe that we won on principle. Dont let them fool you—we won on principle. We urge each and every one of you to become involved with our local party today. Both your contributions and your involvement do make a difference. We have many different ways to be involved. Join the Republican Club, the Republican Women of Brazos Valley, the Hispanic Republicans of Brazos Valley, the Young Republicans or the College Republicans. For more information please visit our website at brazosgop.org or give us a call at 979-268-2308. Invite your friends to join us! Your involvement ensures we will not only advance our agenda of limited government and free enterprise, but also that we will win races for many election cycles in the future. Thank you for your support. God Bless the U.S.A. and God Bless Texas! Keeping Texas Red!
