Thoughts on the upcoming Marvel film slate: 5/1/15 - AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON - Cant wait, its going to be fun. 7/17/15 - ANT-MAN - Not as interesting as it was when Edgar Wright was involved, but Im still looking forward to it. 5/6/16 - CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR - Ehhh. The comic book was crap, so I hope this is significantly revamped. The MCU is too enamored of bad storylines from the last 10 years instead of cooler classic ones from the Silver & Bronze Ages, IMO. 11/4/16 - DOCTOR STRANGE - Glad this is being made and ECSTATIC that it looks like its going to be Cumberbatch in the part. 5/5/17 - GOTG 2 - I was so-so on the first one at best, so Im not really looking forward to this one. 7/28/17 - THOR: RAGNAROK - I just hope that Thor gets turned into a frog in this one. :) 11/3/17 - BLACK PANTHER - This could be one kickass movie. Cool that theyve already cast the guy. He looks good! 5/4/18 & 5/3/19 - AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - Ive never liked Thanos or the whole Infinity Gauntlet thing much, so Im not nuts about that aspect. But theyre Avengers movies, so Im on board. Id be much more excited about Kang the Conqueror, though. 7/6/18 - CAPTAIN MARVEL - Glad that Carol Danvers is getting her own movie, hate that this will cement the CM as hers instead of Billy Batsons in the publics mind. Itll be interesting to see who they cast. 11/2/18 - INHUMANS - Neat choice! I look forward to seeing what they do. I still wish we could get another HULK movie, a NAMOR movie, or a BLACK WIDOW solo film before Scarlet Johansson is collecting social security, but this is a good lineup. Bring em on!
