Thoughts with The Holy Spirit today: Youre walk with Christ is growing, but focus not on how much its growing but the fact that it is. Like a seed that has been planted in deep fertile soil, its able to develop a deeper root system for a stronger foundation, able to take in more. With everyday spiritual nourishment youre walk shall grow, with prayer and time spent in the word solely devoted to Christ. But do not be discouraged about how fast your plant grows, how fast your spiritual life grows, but celebrate its growth, celebrate that its growing! A plant that attempts to strain towards the light and grows too fast does not produce an adequate stalk and eventually falls because it cannot support itself. So celebrate these new leaves in your life, evidence of growth, these gradual one at a time accomplishments, and as you develop these extra branches you will continue to grow a little faster and more richer in Spirit, because you can take in more Sonlight, and a transformation happens, a spiritual photosynthesis takes place as you respirate the very breath of God, Yaweh. As you grow stronger in the Spirit, thriving, ready to produce fruit, the fruit of your life, you will produce other disciples eventually. Disciples that require the same attention and care until they are able to be self-sustaining yet fully dependent on the Son. The mighty Oak tree grew from such a small seed, with one initial sprout, one day at a time, fed daily, time spent each day with the Son. Now this Oak tree that started with only one leaf, but now has hundreds of thousands, bearing much fruit, many seeds to be planted in the hearts of fertile so(i)uls around it, the hearts of men and women. And when you stand back to take a look at this mighty oak tree, its beautiful, majestic, original, glorious and honoring to God. Kids climb and play in its branches, family picnics are enjoyed in its shade, the simple act of resting underneath it brings rejuvenation to ones soul, and it brings forth new life. Focus not on how fast or the quantity of your growth but the quality, the gradual hearty growth over time that will make for a strong foundation, very fruitful, and a gentle strong fortress for others to reside in and around as a testament of The Lord.
