Three Rivers High School - Third 90 Science Program The students involved in the Third 90 program traveled to Coldwater, MI Thursday, October 9th. They worked alongside Mr. David Green, Director of the Whitehouse Nature Center, and Professor Sheila Lyons-Sobaski from Albion College. Mr. Green taught the students how to survey the outdoors through observation and Dr. Lyons-Sobaski had the students collecting and recording macroinvertebrates in a local stream. Students waded through the stream with dip nets and practiced collection procedures in order to measure the stream quality. Students will be back in Coldwater for another sampling on Thursday, October 23rd.
