Three Steps To Salvation You ask, “What do I have to do to find salvation?” 1st, you must repent of your sins… The word “REPENT” means to change your mind, change your lifestyle. You are going in one direction; you turn & go in another. But you cannot repent by yourself God has to help you to repent & He will help, but you need to be willing. You need to say, “Lord. I want to repent, but You will have to help me to change.” 2nd, you must believe. “BELIEVE” means that you rest totally upon GOD & GOD alone. You are not trusting your family to save you; you are not trusting your husband /wife to save you; you are not trusting the church to save you. You are trusting CHRIST & CHRIST alone… The Bible says, “As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12). You need to put your total weight on Christ. Then you must confess Christ openly, “If thou shalt confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus, & shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9) That is how you came to Christ. You must repent. You must believe. You must confess.
