Three great up and coming young scholars have served as research - TopicsExpress

Three great up and coming young scholars have served as research directors for the Bronx African American History Project at Fordham and they have done pretty well for themselves. Natasha Lightfoot got a position in the History Department at Columbia; Brian Purnell got a position in Africana Studies and History at Bowdoin; and now Oneka Labennett has taken a position in Anthropology and Africana Studies at Cornell. I hated to lose them, but each left a powerful imprint on the BAAHP, and on the students they worked with, and it is great to see them find new outlets for their talents.
