Three new concentrations in pre-professional allied health areas are open for new and current students at EU. These programs are concentrations within the BA Biology degree. • Pre-Physical Therapy. This program prepares students for entrance into a graduate level program in Physical Therapy. Students will be advised by a member of the department’s Pre-Healing Arts Committee to assist them in preparation for graduate study. It should be noted that students interested in a physical therapy career may pursue two tracks toward this goal. This program as part of the BA Biology degree allows for a more scientific background/basis for further study. Alternatively, students with more of an interest or background in athletic training and human performance may also complete the BS Health & Physical Education/Human Performance degree program, which also prepares students for graduate study in Physical Therapy. • Pre-Physician Assistant. This program prepares students for entrance into a graduate level program to prepare to be a Physician Assistant. Students will be advised by a member of the department’s Pre-Healing Arts Committee to assist them in preparation for graduate study. • Pre-Chiropractic. This program prepares students for entrance into a graduate level program in Chiropractic study. Students will be advised by a member of the department’s Pre-Healing Arts Committee to assist them in preparation for graduate study.
