Three of my four grandparents were sent by themselves, as - TopicsExpress

Three of my four grandparents were sent by themselves, as children, on a boat from Europe to America to seek not just a better life, but life, because if they stayed put they would die. My grandparents were not citizens, they didnt speak English and they probably smelled to high heaven. But they made it. They got here. And they were terrified and alone. And America took them in. And their courage, and their parents courage for letting them go, is now part of my familys folklore. And by my familys folklore, I mean Americas folklore. You may not like it, but thats the story of America. Anybody who doesnt welcome those 52,000 kids at the Southern Border and thank them for coming here hates our country. Those 52,000 kids are my grandparents. They are not a problem. They are the solution.
