Three reasons to go green. 1) FINANCIAL - By generating your own electricity, heating or domestic hot water you will be paid by the government to do so. This is guaranteed for 20 years and is also index linked. Meaning you can generate a healthy return on investment and a tax free income. 2) GREENER PLANET - By generating your own energy in either form, you are helping to reduce the CO2 emissions that are a byproduct from power stations as a result of burning fossil fuels. Global warming is a direct result of too much CO2 in our atmosphere, lets cut this right back. 3) SUSTAINABILITY - Although its debateable that it would effect us in our lifetime, it certainly will effect our grandchildren and their grandchildren. Fossil fuel will one day run out, we will not have the resources to keep mining for coal to produce our power. Act now and we can protect the future of our energy sources.
