Three years ago today I arrived in Texas after a day and half long bus ride from Indiana. I was 18. Everybody told me I wouldnt last more than a couple of months. Since then Ive lived in a strangers kitchen, a studio apartment, and now a house, which I share with my girlfriend and her two children. I have not regretted my choice a single day, not even a single minute, since stepping off that bus. Well, except for that time a scorpion was crawling on my balls as I was driving and I almost crashed and killed us all. I pretty much hated every decision Id ever made that led up to that point. But Im over that now. Kind of. Anyway, basically, I am very glad to be making a life with Lori Michelle, even if she puts peanut butter and jelly on her pancakes like some kind of goddamn lunatic.
